47. MINUTE OF APPRECIATION FOR ROSEMARY YOUNG (Frontier Services)

That the Assembly

Record its appreciation to Rosemary Young for her service as National Director of Frontier Services from 2000 to 2013. Rosemary gave of herself unstintingly throughout those 13 years in service to the people of remote Australia and to the Uniting Church. She was tireless in seeking always to enhance the well-being of people and to enable Frontier Services to assist in the meeting of people’s needs.

Prior to her appointment as National Director Rosemary served for five years as the Community Services Manager of Frontier Services. In 2006 her contribution to remote Australia was recognised by the Australian community through the award of an AM. Rosemary will be long remembered with deep appreciation and affection by the people of the outback.

On behalf of the Church, the Assembly thanks Rosemary for her dedicated and selfless service as National Director of Frontier Services.
