National Directors of Assembly agencies have today answered questions on their areas of work arising out of information sessions held over the course of the 14th Assembly.
The Assembly honoured a further five retiring Chairpersons and Convenors of Assembly agencies, working groups and committees.

South Australian Moderator Dr Deidre Palmer will be the next President of the Uniting Church in Australia following her election today.
Dr Palmer is the second woman to be appointed to the role, following Dr Jill Tabart (1994-1997) . She will begin her term at the 15th Triennial Assembly in 2018.
In her Bible study on Day Five of the 14th Assembly, missiologist Dr Rosemary Dewerse said the story of travellers encountering Jesus on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35) offered many parallels to the journey of followers today.
