UnitingWorld Lunch: The Church in Times of Conflict

In many parts of the world the Church exists and sometimes flourishes in extraordinarily difficult contexts. But how influential is the role of a minority church and what is our responsibility as global Christians? Our panel of key church leaders from South Sudan, Papua (Indonesia) and Sri Lanka will share stories from their communities and discuss how they engage in political dialogue, advocacy and justice for the vulnerable in places affected by instability and conflict.
Panel Guests: Rev Dr Albert Jebanesan, President Methodist Church Sri Lanka, Rev Alberth Yoku, Moderator Christian Evangelical Church in the Land of Papua, Rev Peter Gai Lual Marrow, President Presbyterian Church of South Sudan.
