Faithful Servant: Minute of Appreciation for Rev. Terence Corkin

Rev. Terence Corkin, the retiring Assembly General Secretary has been recognised for his steady hand and unwavering commitment to guiding the Uniting Church through a time of significant change.

Past President Rev. Alistair Macrae said Rev. Corkin – who will step down at the end of the year after 15 years in the post – had “gone the distance.” He not only dealt with contentious issues such as sexuality, leadership and the Frontier Services crisis, but remained mindful of the health and faithfulness of the Church.
